Welcome to the Banta Unified School District website! I am so glad that you have stopped by to learn more about our district. On this site, you will find information regarding our schools, activities, and upcoming events. Hopefully, you will get a small taste of the wonderful culture that makes us Banta. As the Superintendent of Banta, I have the privilege of introducing you to our district, where we strive each day to help children be the very best versions of themselves that they can be.
We are committed to preparing all of our students to lead happy, healthy, and productive lives. Our goal is to encourage all students to become informed citizens ready to participate in a culturally diverse society. Our district’s mission statement is one that all staff members take to heart every day: With integrity and compassion, Banta Unified School District promotes a commitment to excellence while empowering each individual to strive for the character, knowledge, and skills necessary to make a positive difference in our world.
We are committed to our student's social, emotional, and educational needs and value the well-being of every child. We believe that high-quality instruction sparks curiosity, creativity, and engagement. At Banta, we strive to work together as a team to support our students and their families. Our commitment to continuous improvement reinforces our promise to measure our impact and make necessary adjustments to programs and services. In Banta Unified, we believe that all students deserve access, opportunity, support, and resources.
At Banta, we strive to provide students with a safe learning environment to support and challenge them academically. Our very dedicated and highly qualified staff uses Common Core, STEM, and NGSS standards and curricula combined with effective instructional strategies to meet the needs of our student population. We use continuous assessment and data to inform our instruction and develop learning goals for our students. Our hardworking educators deserve recognition for leading our students to success last year under the most challenging circumstances of our lifetime. Our classified staff was there to support all of us every step of the way, and for that, I am grateful.
On behalf of our School Board members, administration, faculty, and staff, I would like to thank you for your continued interest and support of the Banta Unified School District.
Yours in education,
Rechelle Pearlman
Superintendent
