Dr. Pearlman is passionate about education and her commitment to students, teachers and families’ well-being are unparalleled. Dr. Pearlman is a seasoned educator having earned an Administrative Services Credential in 2012 with a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University, and most recently her Education Doctorate in organizational leadership from Grand Canyon University . She earned a Multiple Subject Credential in 1992 from Santa Clara University, and an undergraduate degree from Cal Ploy San Luis Obispo. Before arriving at Banta School District Dr. Pearlman taught third through sixth grades in Tracy Unified School District for twenty three years.
Dr. Pearlman has been with the Banta Unified School District since December 2014, when she began serving as the principal of Banta Elementary School and then served as the principal of the STEAM Academy in River Islands.
Dr. Pearlman lives in Tracy, and with her husband Mitch have raised three adult children, Nathan, Natalie and Nicholas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the mountains, where she walks her dog Hank, swims in the reservoir and enjoys the cool mountain evenings.
